Damone and I have been happily married since January 2002 in the LDS Salt Lake City Temple, where we were sealed for time and all eternity. Our most treasured and sacred moments have been shared with our beautiful children- Lydia, Kyler, Cooper, Maloree, and Lincoln. They are our greatest blessings and truly make life worth living.

Easter

We were blessed this Easter to have Nana come and visit, and then later Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Todd got to come.

Nana made sure we colored eggs. Kyler spilled the "yellow" and reconfirmed to Damone, that is why we don't color eggs. At least it was the yellow and not the red or purple.

Easter

We had a really fun and eventful Easter. It all started with Damone. He called me while he was on his way into work Thursday 9th to tell me he was going to the ER. He said he was in a lot of pain and had been vomiting. I went up to the hospital to meet him. After a bunch of tests and a lot of waiting we found out he had a kidney stone. This was the day before my parents and my brother Todd were coming in. The doctors actually gave him 10-12 days to pass it before they would do anything. Thankfully after three days of pain and sleepless nights, the kidney stone was passed.

My parents and Todd flew in and we had a lot of fun celebrating Easter with them. We went to an animal park for an Easter egg hunt and we had a lot of good laughs (wink wink Dad).

Before the hunt began Cooper got a little impatient and started filling his basket with rocks.

The older age group ran across the field like a herd of savages, meanwhile Lydia is holding Kyler's hand to help him put an egg in his basket and when they both looked up-the field was bare. Luckily the volunteers anticipated this and came over and brought Lydia and Kyler a bag of eggs. I thought this picture was awesome-everyone looked so disappointed and my Dad has his classic look of "well, now what?"

After the egg hunt there was a bunch of carnival games and a bounce house. Everyone got prizes whether they won or not. The kids had a blast. Lydia wanted to try the putting and she stood at the very far end of the green and swung before I could even take a picture and she got a hole in one. It was so cool!

Don't these kids look so cute?

One of the toys that the kids got from the above mentioned Easter egg hunt were those little poppers (dome shaped toy you turn inside out and let it pop). Well a few days after Easter, thanks to Damone who showed Kyler you could get them to suction to your skin. Kyler kept putting them on his face and he must have perfected his new found talent. He did this to both cheeks-it looked like he was a clown. Needless to say, the poppers got trashed. I could just see him going to Cooper, "hey Cooper let me try something."
