Twas The Night Before Christmas-WAG

-Lydia and Grace-

Earlier in the fall Lydia auditioned for 'Twas the Night Before Christmas' with Wylie Acting Group for Children. She got the part of 'Holly' and was super excited to be a part of another play. It takes a lot of work with memorizing lines and going to all the rehearsals. By the time the performance day comes around Lydia is ready for it to be done. However once she starts performing she wishes they had more than three shows. She LOVES it!

 I don't mean to brag but she does an awesome job and we are so proud of her hard work and the courage that it takes to get up in front of people.

The kids along with Dad got to come and see opening night! -as usual Cooper is either not looking at the camera or is making a scowl. :)

Daddy's Trusty Helper

Whenever Damone is working in the yard Kyler is always by his side. Most of the kids start out helping but don't usually last long. Kyler however will stay by his dad's side helping until the task is complete. I snapped these pictures over memorial weekend from inside the house. All the other kids came in wanting food and drinks because it was so hot outside-not Kyler. I love watching these father son moments.

Good Old Indiana

Our family braved a 16 hour drive trip-18 hours after you stop for food and potty breaks. The kids actually did really well and it was well worth the drive. We had a great time at Nana and Papa's.

Nana and Papa got us a night at a hotel with a water park inside. I was so "cool" in Lydia's words. We had so much fun, and the kids loved being able to play with their cousins Britton and Cal. The town this hotel was in was a rural Amish town. We were seeing horse drawn buggies on the roads every two minutes. All the stores had buggy parking and we even saw men working on their farms with horse drawn plows. It was neat, they are such a fascinating people.

Lincoln loved these birds, he kept screaming at them. The birds would stop and stand dead still with their heads tilted listening to him.

Boys will be boys- especially when water and bugs are involved.
